The island of Tabarca, is located in front of the city of Alicante. Its waters are a Mediterranean Marine Reserve for its excellent quality and for the biodiversity of its flora and fauna. Its coasts once housed a refuge for Berber pirates.

In the 18th century, Carlos III ordered to fortify this island and build a town to house several families of fishermen from Genoa who were held captive in the Tunisian city of Tabarka.
The walls that surround its urban nucleus have been declared a Historic Artistic Site and a Site of Cultural Interest.

To get to and from the island we will embark on a catamaran and make a journey of approximately 40 minutes – a very beautiful trip through the Mediterranean Sea will refresh our morning and afternoon!

We will spend the day on its beaches, visit the town and hike along its coasts.

One of the sports that are practiced a lot on the beaches of the island is Snorkeling! An unforgettable experience! Spectacular sea beauty! You can contemplate the fish in their natural environment, the seabed and its flora.

Precautions

COVID 2019

Bathing is allowed, do not forget to bring bathing clothes, a towel, and especially sunscreen. It is very important to bring booties or river shoes.
On the Island of Tabarca, you can find all the necessary services: restaurants, bars, bathrooms, etc.
It is allowed to bring water and food to the island. You can also bring refrigerators, folding chairs and an umbrella.
Our boat is a catamaran with underwater vision, which also does not cause dizziness and is the safest in the port. Be careful, with the competition, which does not include this type of boat, and they go in small boats, which are not safe and cause a lot of motion sickness.
The boat ticket is not included in the price: € 10 round trip with Erasmus Valencia VIP (Normal price 15€). This amount is paid at the box office before boarding the ship.
Respect nature and collect garbage before leaving the island.
We recommend buying water shoes at Decathlon for example (from 5.99€), to avoid slipping and not be hurt by the stones of the rivers or the rocks of the marine coves, these shoes can be used in many activities, such as Peñon Ifach, Water Trekking , Charcos de Quesa, Bolbaite, etc
A private WhatsApp group will be created for the excursion, so it is very important to correctly write your WhatsApp number with the country code, before finalizing the purchase.

The schedules must be strictly respected, the passenger who arrives late to board the bus or boat, and misses it, the company will not be responsible and will have to pay for their return to their destination.
Eating is not allowed inside the bus
You cannot get on the bus with wet clothes.
It is not allowed to walk in the corridors of the bus, the seat belt is mandatory on all routes of the Bus.
You cannot leave anything of value on the bus, any object that is lost, we are not responsible.
Make the excursion responsibly and cautiously, take care of yourself !! since in free time you are under your own responsibility.

All our excursions comply with current health and safety regulations in compliance with Order TMA / 384/2020, of May 3, of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda:

How to access the Bus?

You can access the bus with your order number and your identity document.

If you have bought it online, it is sent to you by email (check your spam box for your email). You can also find this locator in the profile that you have created on our website, after completing the purchase: User Panel / Tickets Purchased / Name of the excursion.

Can I pay the same day of the excursion?

Unfortunately not, since we cannot guarantee that there will be places available that same day.

Are there promotions?

Of course, early bird offer is available in office!

Can I cancel a reservation?

Yes, at any time, you can cancel your participation in the excursion, having the right to a refund of the amounts you have paid, however, you will have to compensate the indicated amounts:

a) A penalty consisting of 25% of the total amount paid for management expenses.
b) A penalty consisting of 50% of the total amount paid, if the cancellation occurs within the week of the excursion.
c) A penalty consisting of 100% of the total amount paid, if the cancellation occurs within 2 days before the date of the excursion.

To avoid these types of penalties, we recommend purchasing cancellation insurance for up to 24 hours.
