Mountains, rivers, reservoirs, walkways over the water, rock paintings…All this while walking around, further we breathe fresh air and make new friends!!
The route, one of the classic valencian trails that especially the nature lovers should not, takes about 3 hours (moving) and has a length of 15km aprox. It is a very simple way that everyone can do and where we some breaks in between.
We climb the mountain to see magnificent viewpoints with panoramic views to the Charco Azul and to the mountains in the area.
We will visit an area of rock paintings, whose paintings are made in the rock by primitive people who inhabited the area thousands of years ago (between 3500 and 2000 BC) with scenes of animals and hunters. In that area rituals and ceremonies took place and it was therefore a sacred place for them.
On our route we also cross the famous hanging bridges and remount the Turia river by a magnificent path to reach the reservoir Loriguilla, which we also cross. Furthermore we cross the famous Charco Azul by the catwalks over the water before finishing our route.
During the tour we will make several pauses, some of them we will use to eat (bring your own food and water!).
After the route will have free time to spend in the beautiful historic town Chulilla with its narrow streets of the Muslim era and its castle that we can visit for free!
