With you we will visit two impressive places in the Valencian Community: The Cave of the Skulls in Benidoleg and Dénia.
The Cueva de las Calaveras, located north of Alicante, is a fascinating underground gallery with high vaults with such magnificent architecture that only nature is capable of creating, having the feeling of walking through a gallery excavated by an underground river.
The peculiar name is due to the human remains that were found inside in the 17th century. And it is not difficult to imagine how fantastic this cave must have been for the prehistoric inhabitants who used it as a home for thousands of years.
This cave has a route of more than 400 m, during which you can see stalactites, stalagmites and large domes over 50 m high.
The final section of the route leads to a beautiful lake called Toll Blau, which in Arab times was tried to be used as a source for irrigation.

Continuing with our excursion we will go to one of the top destinations in the province of Alicante.
Dénia is a picturesque city to have a dream vacation, as it has one of the best beaches in Spain known as the pearl of the Costa Blanca.
The cozy old town with numerous restaurants, the central alley lined with palm trees, an ancient fortress on a hill, its fascinating castle and one of the largest ports on the coast, with regular routes to Ibiza and Mallorca… are one of the many reasons why you have to visit this beautiful city.
In Dénia there is a beach, there is cultural heritage, there are incredible landscapes and the first thing I say that you have to do in Dénia is… eat! It’s not that it’s a «ñampa zampa» – also, well, let’s say «lover of good gastronomy», which sounds better – it’s that Dénia was declared a creative city of gastronomy by UNESCO in 2015, and that doesn’t happen every year. days or everywhere.
