Creek of Rotes

The beach area known as Les Rotes covers the southern part of the Dianense coast. With the exception of the first beach in that part of the port ,the Marineta Cassiana, Les Rotes stands out for its rocky landscape and coves with clear water that make this beach area a place of unparalleled charm in the municipality. Les Rotes Beach is made up of various coves or bathing areas: Arenetes, El Trampolí, Punta Negra and La Cala, which is naturist.

Marineta Cassiana Beach

La Marineta Cassiana beach, located south of the city of Dénia, is the closest beach to the town center. It is a sandy beach, awarded several times with the Blue flag that recognizes the quality of its waters and services to users. It has a surveillance and rescue service, as well as a bathroom adapted for people with reduced mobility.

Playa El Trampolí

La El Trampolí beach, in the area of the Les Rotes de Dénia area, is a rocky beach with an area of approximately one kilometer. It receives its name from the wooden trampoline that is installed in one of the rocks and that is still used by bathers who come to this beach.

Punta Negra beach

In the Les Rotes area, at kilometer 2,1, we find the Punta Negra beach. It is a rocky cove of approximately 1.400 meters long, which is accessed by the Les Rotes pedestrian walkway. It is guarded during the day by a lifeguard.

La Cala (nudist beach)

La Cala Has an extension of 100 to 180 meters, is a rocky cove and the access to it must be done walking, since it is a very hidden cove to which only access can be accessed down stairs.

Les Arenetes

The most famous cove in Les Rotes is Les Arenetes, known as “End of Les Rotes” is a charming rocky beach and belongs to the Cabo de San Antonio Matina Reserve, for which it is declared a place of interest for its micro-reserves.

Another of its best coves in Les Rotes is “La Cala Agua Dulce”, a small and hidden rocky cove, in which the beauty of the color shades that its waters take on is surprising. This is a cove for naturist use, which will delight those who want to descend to it through its stairs.

Snorkeling

Cala de Les Arentes is a paradise for those of us who like to enjoy the sea . A tube , some goggles and some fins become a great plan. The access to the cove is somewhat slippery due to the rocky ground wuth occasional algae and the occasional hole. Hence the need to use booties or similar footwear. Once we have passed this rocky platform , we jump into its crystal clear waters. Without having to go too far from the shore or dive many meters deep, this place offers us an interesting range of species of both fauna and flora .
